How confident can I be leaving may camp (wall tent etc...) near a road that I'll return to it as I left it? Especially if there's no vehicle left behind. Just curious if
people have had issues with thieves often. Either way, I'm gonna have a trail cam or two nearby. TYI

I'll set it up on arrival and tear down on departure each trip over for scouting and hunting. I'd say max 2 weeks

If you are going back to it each night I personally wouldn't worry about it.

Haven't got there yet. Be there scouting in the late spring and then maybe a hunt in late August followed by 2 weeks late Nov

No, set it up, scout and tear it all down and come home. Go back to hunt and repeat.

I have left a camp for 3-5 days without visiting it when hunting long weekends with no issues yet. It always makes me nervous. Try to keep things tucked away but if I am day hunting I leave a more things sitting out. In WY ran into some issues and left more things sitting out than I wanted to and did make it back until 9 days later to pack things up and nothing was taken. My archery target was even sitting out in the wide open. That camp was on a main forest road.

Keep it bear safe. Particularly if you are in the east side of Unit 1. There are grizzlies in there. Lots of blackies too.
