I'm looking to book a hunt in CO for my Dad and myself. My Dad is 80 years old and can'twalk to much. WWII messed his feet up a little bit. I'm looking for an area that we can hunt from the truck or where he can sit in an area and see deer. He has hunted his whole life and hasn't hunted the last 7 years becuase he thinks he has shot all the deer he needs to shoot.
I hunted unit 61 this year and we shot a couple a nice bucks. He saw the pictures and heard the stories and could tell he was getting the bug again. I offered to take him this next year and he just smiled. That was his way of saying lets go. So where to go? Unit 61 and hunt with Stan Garvey, unit 70, unit 40, what do you think? What outfitter should I use? I would like to have an opportunity for a nice buck 170+.
Any input would be appreciated.
