I was going to scout unit 22 but wife is in the hospital having surgery so my ass is hanging out. Could use some information on the unit; are there land owners who will sell land access. If so who should I contact to find out. Plan to hunt after the 15th of Oct.

Welcome. You're cutting it pretty close. I suspect by now most, it not all trespass hunts are full. You may want to try calling the Kaycee chamber of commerce to see if they have a list of landowners. I'd call the area fish and game office too. Best bet will be the limited public land in the northeast corner along with the rest of the orange army. If you haven't done so, get a unit map and an OnXMap chip and be ready to put in the miles.
