Howa Kuiu

My local Sportmans Warehouse has a really nice deal on a Howa Kuiu in 7mm-08. Does anyone have experience with the kuiu? How does it compare to the 1500? Also, should I stick with the 7mm-08? They can also order one in 6.5 creedmoor or .308... Thanks In advance

Can't speak to the model but I have a 6.5 and 7mm-08. It depends on what you're hunting it with.

It's my understanding that the Howa Kuiu is is the same as the "Houge Rifle". It has their Model 1500 barrel and Houge Stock with a Kuiu pattern.

Main purpose would be whitetail hunting and just a fun gun to shoot at the range. I already own a 7mm-08 and 6.5 in another platform.... But I suppose one can never have too many of one cartridge...
