As I write, on the shelf a Howa Alpine Mountain Rifle in 6.5, at Bob Wards In BozeAngeles. Just in case anybody is interested in a product that is at the end of it's "life cycle" - it had barely reached puberty.

Every product has its life cycle, it was time to move to something new.

February of 2020 and I still located a new alpine mountain! I'm excited to get this for the upcoming Public Land Elk hunt for 2nd rifle in units 64 and 65 of Colorado! Matt, is there a chance we could get a comment from Randy on the Sig BDX system? I know his love of Leupold, but I've not spent much time on the range and thought this is a once in a lifetime hunt and want every advantage I can get. Short of taking Randy with me!

I just ran across one of the Howa alpine mountain rifle at a shop in Humboldt Tn. Picked it up for a fair price , mounted a Leupold 2x7 matte and headed for the range The gun shot great with Norma 308 factory ammo, this is a threaded model !!! Super rifle !
