.30-06 and .270.......I am looking to get a .270

It sounds like a good deal. Is that with scope or just the gun? I got lucky and picked up a 7mag with scope for $450 a year or so ago. At that price I would jump on it. I love my Howa. If this is a newer model it should have the new trigger. If not, get a Timney. The trigger install is 5 minutes and makes a world of difference in the older trigger.
