I am trying to get an idea of how many shells I can reload with a bottle of powder. I am sure it will vary a little, but if I can get the conversion rate, I can do the math with my different loads.

Whitedeer,

I think you mean 7,000 grains to a pound.

437.5 x 16 = 7,000.

When I'm loading up my .338, the powder does seem to disappear quickly, but not THAT quickly. ;)

Ol' Bob.....Remember that post of mine where I warned you of the scoundrals on this forum that would take advantage of poor, honest men. Well, as you can see...I didn't have to mention any names...but you can really see them scurrying out of the floorboards at times. "Cavae cenam" ;)
