RockyDog...no I actually drove over there with the idea that the closest I could get to a trail head was 5 miles. I decided to go for it the weekend before the hunt, but the week of the hunt Plum Creek all of a sudden decides to shut down the road! 
No coincedence there! They said it reopens on the first and at the way things have been going, its a real possibility that I'll be headed back in there. I have to head up to Kalispell this week to do some work on a house, hopefully I'll get some time from bear huntin to work on the house!
