I hunted an area last year that had a notable winter kill and reduced tags, how long before the herd recovers? would it be a good idea to select another area and avoid this one for a year or three? This was my first trip out. area 7.

I'd say on the low side of the first response before I would really want to hunt for a good buck if the better age class was lost in the area. I have a PM out to a rancher that lives on the south side of unit 7 asking what the antelope situation is around there and if I get a response I'll post it here for you. I think I may use my 1 PP and see if I can draw unit 27 sw of there.
