Hi I'm Matt. I am 35 and just getting back into hunting. I hunted with my dad a good bit when I was younger, but as everyone knows life can get in the way. College, work, starting a family all those important things that I wouldn't give up for anything meant sacrifices and hunting just unintentionally was one of them. A friend and I drew out for the rifle elk hunt here in New Mexico Unit 34, as well as Mule Deer in Unit 34 which my wife also drew so she will be coming along. I really enjoy watching Randy and I have learned a great deal and have been reminded of some things that time had made me forget. Glad to be here amount other hunters again.
