Does anyone know why the raised the either sex elk rifle tag from 55 to 100 in HD 410 this year?

Most likely guess would be pressure on fwp from ranchers. The majority around here view elk about like prairie dogs. Don't want anything that eats grass out there with the cattle. Different strokes.
