This bill would provide funding and resources for a study designed to assess placement of migration corridor road crossings. It would be an important step forward in an area Oregon is really lacking, and could lead to a longterm benefit to our mule deer herds in particular.

The public hearing was pretty interesting. Testimony from Oregon Hunters Association, RMEF, and other hunting groups was very similar to that of HSUS and other anti hunting groups.

Yessir. This bill would provide for the final step in analysis to identify sites of high need (similar to what’s been done at the Lava Center) before construction can begin.

Also, look at all that red between Bend and Sisters! Highway 20 is a death trap for mule deer.
