I hope everyone starting out better then mine. I've been busy the last couple days.
Shelly and I went to Jacob and Sara's for Christmas in NC. We left on Thursday and returned on Tuesday. On the way home the neighbor called Shelly and said her back yard was flooded and the back of our house was all iced from the 2nd floor down.
Well, we get home to find the crawl space was full of water 3'
It was the hot water and from the damage it busted last Friday FD told us. Kitchen, bath and back bedroom are a total. The wood floors are a total, all the carpets also. This will involve new walls and insulation, kitchen cabinets , bath cabinet also. .
So we are renting my son's condo and he will be staying with his fiance in N. Va.
I told Shelly last night we should take a vacation and return when it's done. I'll hire Jarrod to oversee the reconstruction. She would have nothing of it.
I will get pictures as it gets real.
Did a pack out today with a few of the guys from my shop. Monday the demolition crew starts.
