This is an older movie but one of my favorites.
Best opening scene ever: A young girl wearing animal furs shoots a caribou with a selfbow out on the frozen taiga of northern Europe. She runs the animal to ground and stands over it as it takes its final breaths. She says, "I just missed your heart" pulls out a Luger and finishes it off.
That's the only hunting (of animals) part of the movie. Basically she's the result of an evil CIA agent's effort to genetically engineer the perfect assassin. Her father rescued her when she was a baby and raised her in the isolation of the frozen north. Everything she knows about the outside world, she learned from her father and Encyclopedia Britannica. Now that she's coming of age her father knows she needs to learn the truth of her past and experience the world for herself. This leads to the CIA agent's team of psychos hunting for her and Hanna hunting for answers... and revenge.
