I like the Kifaru Gin Bearer on my Metcalf but have also used a cheap Allen sling in combo with a Jakt gear pack rat (https://jaktgear.com/collections/sling-accessories/products/pack-rats-backpack-strap-clips) to hold it in place. I use both regularly.

Are we talking just a standard sling? I repurposed a totally not taken from my gear issue tactical sling.
