Did a little northern pike fishing this past weekend. My granddauther had been practicing her casting and had become board. Found her on the dock like this,
Took her in the kayak and showed her where to toss the weedless frog.
Got a few strikes then, her first pike!
With that done, she took over the paddle and we went picking lily-pad flowers
