Looking for tips on how to use Google Earth to find glassing spots for bears in Montana.
Any advice on finding trails, etc that you would be able to access different areas.

You can download KML and KMZ files into google earth. There are tons of maps on the web, us topo make from the usgs, game unit maps and much more. Just google how to import them into google earth and there is lots of directions and how to videos to help you out. One imported, you can even adjust the opacity of the maps to reveal the satellite image beneath the map. Hope this helps.
 
Don't bother with regular google earth, get the pro version. The data that can be added will increase greatly.
 
I agree with WapitiBob. The pro version is free now and the data you can link in is crazy. Not to mention you can print maps with legends pretty easily.
