Good end to a bad week

Had a really rough week or so. Sometimes life just sends you a curve ball. Anyways, took some time tonight to try and get myself back on track. Had the wife drop me off to fish for about an hour then scouted some whitetails. Btw any of you new dads out there like @BoomerUSAF, @Hilljackoutlaw, @KipCarson those bottle cooler things for the kids work real good for a couple beers too if you havent figured that out yet. I caught about 15 bass and 13 of them had these parasites in there mouth anyone have any info for me on this? (See pics).

Glassed a group of bucks up from about 700 yards away I dont have a phone scope so my pics suck the biggest buck far right had his head down for every damn pic will easily gross b&c although youd never know in the pics. Hoping to kill him this fall he is a 6×6 with g2's 3's 4's all well over 12" an absolute stud and from what I can see very symmetrical. Hopefully get some good pics of him soon.

Sounds like a grand afternoon! We all probably need a few more days like that in our lives. And I definitely need to sneak away to catch some fish myself soon, I did get a treestand hung yesterday so the weekend wasn’t a total loss.

Im not a fisheries biologist but those leeches are common down here in largemouth. they don't seem to affect the fishes overall health but it is weird to look at. Nice choice of beverage they make some good stuff. If you're not repurposing baby stuff as they grow out of it your doing the dad job wrong.
