I got the 6.5 man-bun (my first) and over time I will be swapping stock, etc. with goal of having a decent 600y target rifle on the cheap.

I literally just bought the same one. The thing doesn't shoot over an inch with any of my handloads. I bought mine when on a smaller scale for $100 more than that including tax and feel that I got a value there.

You can get it in the 6.5 Schmedium or the .308. Both I would be amazing deer guns or target guns.

Bass pro also has the 700 Remington ADL on sale i saw last night for 399.00. Probably a good time of the year for some deals if anybody looking. I like the Savage too i just don't need anything now as much as i would like to have one.
