Got my wife a Bersa Thunder for this very reason, she tending to limp wrist and the lighter guns being more snappy too. The heavier gun basically forced her to use her strength and the heavier weight kept the muzzle down better.

I like my glock as a reliable companion that I can use and abuse then repeat
