Youngest daughter has a late season either sex muley tag. It's a short range weapon hunt, which means I needed to get her trained up with the muzzleloader. The video is pretty hilarious, as she says, "I'm scared" before dropping the hammer the first time. After a few shots, she was grouping them well at 100.
Took a walk up to the "buckhole", one decent buck spotted on the way up, otherwise nothing but does.
Looking forward to going out with her, plan to hold off til second week of November and hope some rutting buck lets us get in close. If not, a nice big doe will sure look good in the freezer.
