Weather is warming up. Ice is off the lakes. Just finished getting the little boat ready. Probably be on the water this week.

Hmmmmmmmmm, the ice here is under 3 feet of snow yet.

This lake never freezes! Best fishing is from Nov. 1 to about mid April!

The best fishing is at Walker 40 miles south of Fallon, NV. Pyramid is a 1 fish limit in a slot limit. Walker is 5 fish. Limited every weekend for 6 months. Kept only fish over 24". No tribal permit required.

Walker is OK when the water level is up! When it is low, like now, the bigger fish die off because of the alkali level. The fish today are running around 2-2 1/2 lbs. max!

It's still kinda chilly here, but fishing season opens in the creeks in a little over two more months...
