Garmin Earthmate?

Anyone using Garmin Earthmate with their Inreach Mini???

What is good?
What sucks?
What works but needs improvement?

It's nice for texting and being able to use your phone keyboard. As far as navigation goes, I haven't used it enough to form an opinion. I use OnX for tracking, waypoints, routes, etc. or a compass for a quick reference.

I don't use it for navigation at all, just the messaging.

I've noticed some glitches on messages coming to my phone. Sometimes I have to restart the app to get it to move the messages from my Mini to my app. I honestly don't know why it happens and tech support isn't any help. It did it on a Note8, S8, and now my Note10.

Still, its a great piece of gear.

Super slick for texting and checking the weather forecast. The only problem I had was the mini didn’t like to Bluetooth if it was cold
