The original GAOA was a 5-yr funding bill, not forever.

To that point, if Congress funded Deferred Maintenance (instead of always cutting it) there would be no need for GAOA type bills.

I couldn't remember the length. I assume the GAOA250 will be 2.5yrs of not being funded.
