I'm getting a buddy of mine into archery. He got a great deal on a used bow and we were at the bow shop today to get the bow set up for him and get arrows and the whole nine yards. When we asked about broadheads, the tech highly recommended these G5 Strikers. I've never used them before, so I have no opinion about them. I have used Shuttle T's for years, but if there's a better head out there, I'd definitely be interested. Have any of you guys used these heads, and if so, what do you think about them?

If the shuttle T's are working for you, stick with them. Personally I shoot 100 grain slick trick magnums and love them. I yet to lose an animal and most blood trails Ray Charles could follow! :)

I shoot them. They shoot like my field points and make holes in critters. If what you shoot is accurate and sharp it should work.

I use G5 Striker. I've been very happy with them, and have great success putting animals down quickly with them.

They whistled in flight for me. Someone else noticed it cause I am nearly deaf.

They are what I use. Killed an Elk at 62 yards...Went clean through and stuck in a tree stump on the other side. I will say that the blood trail was a little light though.

I shot G5 strikers for about 4 years after they were released and never lost an animal. If you find a good deal on the Strikers I would pick them up! They will do the job
