FUTURES: "The New World" and "Kingdom of Heaven"

Here's a couple that looked like they might be good (or not!), coming soon to a theater near you! "The New World" stars Colin Farrell as Captain John Smith, who arrives at, well, The New World and gets into all kinds of wacky hijinx with the natives. (I wonder if John Smith will be gay in this one? ) http://www.thenewworldmovie.com/

"Kingdom of Heaven" is a movie about the Crusades, but that's just about all I could get out of the trailer that I saw. It stars Liam Neeson and Orlando Bloom among others, and is directed by Ridley Scott (of "Gladiator" fame). Hopefully it'll be a fair treatment of the subject and not just a Catholic-bashing festival. http://www.kingdomofheavenmovie.com/

Finally, if you haven't seen the teaser for Star Wars Episode III yet, check it out at http://www.starwars.com/ ...the dramatic music at one key point in the trailer is worth the download in my opinion.

All of these look fully watchable. I really enjoy historical fiction.

But man oh man, ROTS bring it on! It's about time!
