I’ve got offcuts from time to time that I feel bad throwing away. Currently have some raccoon scraps, including face and tail. These are tanned, various shapes and sizes. Mostly belly fur and edges. Could be used for trapping lures, jewelry, craft projects, pet toys. Free if you can use them. Just thought I’d see if anyone would be interested, otherwise they’re getting tossed.

A fly fishing shop would gladly take them for tying flies. I used to trade scraps for flies at one shop, but it closed down.
I thought about that, but being on the warm water side of the state I don’t think there’s a shop within 200 miles of me, and I don’t personally know any fly tiers.

That said, a northern would probably bite a hunk of hide on a hook.
