Take a minute today folks, and remember those who have given so much. Remember, as well, our soldiers that are still serving today.

"They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old.

Age shall not weary, nor the years condemn..

And at the going down of the sun - we will remember them"

I spent Veteran's Day on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. In the early days of WWII a Marine group called the Makin Raiders made one of the first forays against the Japanese here. Yesterday they erected a memorial to the men who lost their lives - by beheading - during those raids. It was incredibly moving to be here during that dedication with many of those soldiers. I was humbled to be in the presence of these fine Marines.

That is really cool Bill..
Even if some of our communist loving pinkos don't see much use in it....
Even the most idealistic countries that some on this board seem to love so much all have armies...And for those that don't see any use for a military, there are a lot of countries that don't have a standing army but have a lot of small bands of thugs that will just shoot you on site for being white.... Take your choice...
