Flying out for an elk hunt

I will add that most major airports have frozen storage. If you are connecting and need to keep the meat at airport overnight it is a great option. It has a cost, but it typically isn't much comparatively speaking. I have never considered checking in unfrozen meat with the goal of freezing it. Clearly that would have to be done early enough to give it time to freeze.

Thanks, I'll have to look into that. I have had meet frozen and vacuum-packed and thought to myself what if this was just cooled and vacuum-packed?
