Congrats. Much better luck than last year for you guys!

It sure was. Amazing what more public land access means, as our unit this year (7) shares a border with 24, which we hunted last year on a very small amount of public, with very few antelope sightings.

How was access in the grasslands? How about other hunters? See any deer?

I'm thinking about doing a similar hunt next year.

We never did get to check out the Prime Rib at the Pizza Barn though. we tagged out early before we had eaten all the premade stuff we brought along. Maybe next year!
