Season opened Oct 1st, arrowed a nice fat whitetail doe on the farm behind house last evening. 60 Yard death run and a quick recovery. My buddy John Deere gave me a hand and she was gutted, skinned, halved, in game bags, and in the cooler 90 minutes after the shot. Always amazed at how effective a well placed broadhead is.
 
Nice work! I got one of the same (although probably a much smaller east coast fat doe) a couple weeks ago. I was pretty happy she expired 15 yards from where I could get the truck. Sure makes things easier!
 
That'll eat well, congrats! My kids schedules keep me away from archery season, but that's my favorite time to hunt deer here in Hoosier land. Someday...
