I understand our Air National Guard slurry bombers are in Boise to support the fire fighting efforts. Hopefully there won't be another such crash and loss of life as occurred in South Dakota a few weeks back.
 
Are they the ac-130's? If so I hope they got the problem resolved.
The slurry bombers in Billings are from Canada...seems we have a shortage on the larger slurry bombers.
 
Too bad your name isn't scrawled on the bottom of them. Take-off is usually to the west, hard bank to the right puts them right over the top of me headed out NE. May have to try and snap a pic.


Yep, C-130's; they'll probably have some of the panels painted orange to designate them as slurry birds.
