Went down to the John Day River again yester day evening. Haven't been catching any cats this year, maybe the water to cold and they are probably nesting. Well last night broke the ice. 22" and 4lbs! Lost another I think I set the hook on to soon and third spit the hook just as I got it on the bank. Snicker tried to help we get it but it got away. Love it when the cats come on!
