Finally Own a 270 Winchester…….

Congrats on a fine rifle! I have had many calibers/rifles, but got to figuring awhile back. It seems while I have only shot one jackrabbit and made a finishing shot on my God Son's Spanish Goat, I have owned 15 270s! This last is a Mod 84L Classic that shoots everything I put in it. I shoot the 130 Hornadys for practice, have a 130 Partition load for hunting (if I ever do with it) I settled on the 150 Partition over N560 for over 3K fps! Pretty light rifle, I may send it back to my Grand Daughter ("technically hers") and get another in Sporter Weight. I shoot alot of the 110gr Vmax and 110 TTSX over Hunter. Wicked flat! I have a Burris 3x9 FF II, but 4x is plenty.

I also have a 84L classic select. It shoots 150 partitions and Speer Grand Slams very well. I shoot all of the loads with RL 22 when I can get it. N560 sounds like a great option.
