Barbary Sheep on the ground...Finally

Yeah...! finally put a Barbary on the Ground. Took me all year but i did it..
I got a clean 217 yard shot on this guy and broke my 7mm in finally. It's first KILL>>I was shooting reloads with a 160 gr. Nosler Partion. He gave me a Quartering towards shot i hit him perfect he ran bout 20 yrds. and hit the dirt. Then the fun started my girlfriend and I had to drag him bout 2miles. It was kinda rough but it was a blast. I owe it all to my girlfriend without her I would still be up looking for these sheep. She is my good luck..

Very cool muzzelk. I'd like to do one of those hunts someday. Looks like they blend in real good with red dirt down there.

Ya they really do blend in real good. They are very hard to spot out. Plus the numbers here are not to great. They are free ranging on public land. which makes it a really hard hunt. It took me all year to get one, but actually i didnt hunt to hard till the last 3 months. But it is truly a trophy around here.
