FCS championship!#?

I turned to the FCS championship in the 4th quarter.

What a cluster! Still not sure how a team can try so hard to lose by falling apart...then win.

I know with most of the best players jumping to FBS in the transfer portal high level FCS play has suffered but still.

Congrats to the kids on the cats who kept giving their all and didnt give up.

To compare this to hunting I would say you missed your dream buck 3 times and then it got stuck in the fence and you finished him with your last bullet. Congrats to the cats but I hope they are humble about this one. Coming from a cats fan. Fugly

10 false starts (the last was bs) is absolutely ridiculous. Hard to give a coach who just won the natty too much grief, but man the guy could’ve made some adjustments and saved a couple cats fans from cardiac events.

Piss, i thought it was tonight for some reason and missed it. Glad the Cats won, they were due.

The second half was rough. Started getting a sinking feeling with the ton of penalties.
Never forget the answer I got from a high school buddy 40 years ago when I asked why he liked college football. He said it was exciting because the games were rarely perfect.
Cats pulled it off by the nads.

That was an ugly game. Cats tried their best to lose it. Kid that impressed me the most was the Illinois State qb. He got the heck beat out of him, got back up, and threw strikes. No quit in that guy! Checked his blood sugar, shot himself up with insulin, and went back on the field. Taco was amazing as well!

Was indeed an ugly game but got to admit it was entertaining...not many championship games feature a 20-point comeback, a blocked FG, a blocked PAT in overtime and a game-winning score on 4th and 10 lol. Cats coach probably bought a case of Pepcid afterwards!

Read in the paper today--the reporter said he had to trot out his Sid Hartman--that the kicker is from Alex? Nice!

Yep, he hit a buzzer beater 3 pointer to send us to the state championship too! He was our kicker before Daniel Jackson, who will be the Gophers kicker next year.

I’m pretty sure I have a year of Covid eligibility left and I used to be a pretty decent center. Might have to send in my resume…
