I'm fairly new to Turkey hunting, I've hunted the last two years in the spring. I'd like to get out next weekend and hunt them this fall. I'm just wondering if anyone has some good fall hunting techniques they would be willing to share.

We do our scouting to locate the birds and then either ambush them or put on a sneak. One tactic that may be a bit unorthadox is if while sneaking you run out of cover and are still out of range of the birds, simply get up and run at them. Some will run, others will fly, but enough will be confused enough to stand there wondering what the heck is going on long enough for you to get within range.
Not the finesse of calling them in but it works.
