I have big plans to fill the freezer with different meals for the Fall so that we can grab and go without the hassle of grocery stores and wasted food. My first project was a batch of 50 meatballs made with a mix of Bitterroot elk and beef. In addition to that I made homemade spaghetti sauce, should be a quick meal with packed noodles. Also, if we are in the front country camping from the truck we will be able to dress it up with fresh herbs, garlic bread, cheese, etc. Of course I tried a few and they turned out yummy!

Next, I want to make mini quiche's with bear sausage and veggies.

I'm obviously not excited to hunt or anything.... ;)
