I have considered this..... I truly wonder if he would have injured or killed himself shedding. Definitely a possibility of pedicle damage.

He is done and on the wall. The extra weight of all of that wire and post is crazy. It ripped the toggle anchor straight out of the wall. I had to move over to a stud and put a lag bolt in it to hold him.

Great stories. Congrats to your son on the Gatekeeper bull! A mount like that is far more interesting than "just another" big bull.

We have been deer hunting so I've been out of service but good luck! The kids are the best part of hunting!
