Dog - Yes our first buck did end up in a ditch too. Actually a good thing for both. The first one had no blood trail because the arrow didn't go all the way through, and it never fell out. For this one the rain had washed away all the blood. We have had a lot of our deer end up in ditches, so it is the first place we look if we have trouble finding one!
