and have $15,000 to spend? Then here is a deal for you.

Plus you would be helping out a soldier. Due to the high expense of a divorce I cannot even consider such a purchase but maybe one of you guys have $15K burning a hole in your pocket.

Moosie that would earn you alot of miles on your CC and you could fit the entire Moosie clan on it, even Mrs. Moosie.

Now THAT is a true ALL Terrain Vehicle. hump The ultimate vehicle for a lazy fat ass hunter. :D Seriously I wonder how many places you could use that legally. It would be great for somebody who has their own farm/ranch and I imagine it would really be ideal for a guy who does guided waterfowl hunts.

My dad had one of those things. It is truly amphibious, you can roll right in to the pond and across to the other side. I rode on it a bit over land and water and I think that they basically suck. They don't go fast enough wet or dry to be used very seriously in my opinion.

My dad's was new probably early '90's, so maybe they are better now. When my dad passed away, my step mother asked me if I wanted it and I passed. I just wouldn't use it and I didn't want it sitting around taking up space.

My experience with the Argo vehicles is quite the same as Canoe had mentioned. A friend of mine in grade school had one since his dad was a rep. It was neat that you could go from land to water and back without much problem but they were indeed slow in both environments. We went fishing in it once and even using the tires seemed to troll at a slow pace. I remember theirs had tracks like those on tanks but don't recall ever seeing it run with them on. I'd pass too on one and for $15K...........

Now he is being sent back to Iraq, and overseas after that, so he will not be able to use it for the next four years and prefers to sell it so that someone else might enjoy it, rather than have it sit unused.

Interesting that the guy is planning on spending 4 more years in Iraq. I thot Dubya presented his "Plan for Victory" last fall.....

Jose,

The longer you stay illegally north of the border :D the more your english skills get worse instead of better. It says he is going to Iraq and then on an oversees tour. ie. Germany, England, South Korea etc. etc.

P.S. I bet we still have at least 30,000 troops in Iraq four years from now.
