How do they get deer to cross at the yellow road signs?

They do at some places!! Certain states, I think UT and ID, have constructed deer crosswalks. They build a fence along the road with only a few places for the deer to cross and then put up huge signs warning motorists. I think this is to protect them when they are migrating down to lower elevations later in the year.
