Fall Bear Season opens here on August 15th.
It is now July 11... When is a good time (date) to start baiting a site... Is a week
before opener exeptable..

Virt, First find out what is legal in your states. Some states have restrictions on when you can start baiting and some don't. The sooner you can start i have found the best. I would allow at least a week but if you have a long season a week may be alright if you have the time to spare hunting. I cant' bait here anymore, its illegal now. Good luck to you.
