Dandy MT Bear

Thanks for the comments guys, he sure was a dandy. It was pretty lucky too to have the shed horn for a prop:) We finally got the "official" tape to him today.......19 7/8" was the head and 6' 4" on the square............not too shabby.

He is just one of those guys that falls in $^^%@ and comes out smelling like a rose...........first deer hunt we went on together, he smokes a 175" beautiful muley buck..................he has hunted elk with a bow for 4 years now and lets see, started his first year with a 260ish 6 point, second year was a 310 seven point, third year was a 320ish six point, and the fourth was a 387 6x7.........he said they were too easy to kill so he didn't put in this year;)

Got to make fun of him while i can though, I got him on one Friday at 290 yards and he missed it three times:)..............

Regardless, my hats off to him for being so lucky, wish i had some of it...

Wow those are some big measurments. Was the skull measurement done with the skull all cleaned off? If so that bear would be as impressive as shooting that 380 class bull:eek: Tell him that he has no where to go but down now:D

He'll probably draw moose, sheep, and goat and kill monsters as well. You better hang close to that guy.
