I didn't want to jam up the thread about the land transfer. So thought I would post this here. I've been wrestling with a couple companies that have stayed silent on the public land sale. And want to see others thoughts.

1 of the companies hasn't said anything but has weighed in on other political issues. This speaks loudly to me.

The other bigger company never indulges into political discussions one way or another on tany of their platforms. Them not weighing in on this land sale, while it disappoints me, is easier to swallow as they have made a stance they are in a business and it's not politics.

In my opinion a company should sell products and services not influence on politics. If the owner wants to publicly support things then sure that's great but as a company I find the product/service should be what makes me want to buy not the "official" stance they take on a issue.

We see with this last election especially how companies will flip flop just to stay in grace with the political power.
