Colorado Unit 86/82

So we have settled on this unit near Hayden Pass for OTC archery, just wondering if anyone has hunting in this area before and what elevation has the best food source for finding cows? There will be three of us with tags. Its our first time hunting in these units so any help would be appreciated. Also we are planning to base camp near a road so we will still be mobile.

Good Evening Elk Arrow,

We hunted that area during 2nd Rifle Season before. We had a great time with friends but we did not manage to tag a bull, did saw plenty of cows.
