My buddy and I killed a couple decent muleys in near Montrose, Colorado a week and a half ago. Just sent a photo to Moosie to post.

Hunted about 20 miles east of Montrose w/an outfitter I went with last year.
Shot this deer first hour and a half of hunting, 365 yards, wham bang, dead deer, .270 Weatherbaby.
My buddy killed a little bigger one same day right before dark, so we were done on day one.
Moral of that story is ..... practice a little restraint, and you might shoot a whopper.
Fun trip none the less. Stopped and visited with friends going out and back, got back early and bow hunted whitetails for my remaining days off.
