Colorado longbow mule deer

Hello all new to the site.Hopeing someone could lead me in the right direction.Im almost sure this question has been asked a million times on here.I apologize.Im 52 and heading to Colorado for a archery hunt.I hunt with a longbow.Been to Montana 4 yrs ago with some friends.Im in pretty good shape.Ive been reading the Colorado parks regulations.Checking out there maps system.Trying to figure out what zone to put in for.How accurate and reliable is that info.?Should I put in for a tag based on the info they provide or are there other avenues I should pursue.Any info would be appreciated.
