Colorado Elk hunt help

I have hunted the Wheminuchie (sp) wilderness in Colorado several times, but I am not able to hunt that extreme country anymore. I need help with areas in Colorado that are moderate to rough terrain and have a OTC tag. I don't want anyone's honey holes, just need general places that won't kill me trying to find a Bull. Any help would be greatly appreciated..... Archery is my weapon, by the way...

Hunted 3 and 301 this past 3rd rifle season and didn't see an elk on public land....actually, the only elk we saw was a spike in a hay field and a cow on private
