My son is 11 and I was able to work it out in my schedule to try and take him deer hunting 4th season here in Colorado. The area's that still have buck tags that I am considering are GMU 29 and GMU 38. This would be our 1st father son trip and I am hoping we can find some decent areas to hunt that he can have a really good learning experience before he has his first hunt in a year or two. I would really appreciate it if someone could give some good advise in these area's to try. I am thinking we can walk 2 to 6 miles round trip per day if needed.
